Monte Carlo or Bust is designed to be simple, friendly and fun. Here’s how the rally works from sign-up to start line.
Each car pays a £100 registration fee, due by 31 March 2026. This includes your full rally pack:
Any money left over from registration fees will be shared equally between the five charities we support.
You are encouraged to decorate or theme your car, and travelling in fancy dress is always welcome. The more creative, the better!
Many teams choose to customise or theme their cars. If you’d like some ideas, you can find plenty of inspiration from past European banger rallies. See example decorated cars.
Enter as a pair, a group, a family or as a solo driver. Car-sharing is encouraged — it keeps costs down and makes the journey more sociable.
Every participant pays a £250 charity contribution, due by 30 April 2026. This amount is split equally between the five charities supported by the rally.
If you would like to raise additional funds, you can set up your own online fundraising page. This can be for one or more of the rally charities, or a different charity that is important to you.
Any make or model is allowed, as long as it is road-legal and costs £1,000 or less. Cars with character are encouraged — and themes are even better.
This is a convoy, not a race. Each day has a suggested route and target destination. We regroup at agreed meeting points, take photos, refuel (cars and people!) and then head on together.
Once we reach the day’s destination, you head to your chosen accommodation. Most evenings there is an optional group dinner — a chance to unwind, share stories and enjoy the atmosphere.
The rally builds towards the moment we arrive in Monte Carlo. There is time for photos, celebrations and to soak up the iconic surroundings before continuing to Nice for the night.
After reaching the Mediterranean, the rally continues back through France towards the UK, with more scenic stops, memories and laughs along the way.
Simple idea, unforgettable adventure.
